The price at the top of a marketplace listing is a starting point. Two listings at the same headline price can cost quite different amounts by the time they arrive. Here is what to compare.
1. The variant you actually pick
Price often changes with the variant (plug, voltage, controller). Select your exact options before comparing. For Singapore, that means the right voltage and a suitable plug. See Can You Use a 250mm DC Fan in Singapore?.
2. Shipping cost and speed
Look at the shipping fee and the delivery estimate to Singapore. A cheaper item with slow or paid shipping can cost more than a pricier item with free, faster delivery.
3. Coupons and promotions
Coupons may have conditions, such as a minimum spend, a limited period or eligibility rules. The coupon code shown on our product page was shown with the listing when we checked and may not apply to you. Verify at checkout.
4. Taxes
Singapore charges GST on many imported goods, and some overseas sellers or platforms are registered to collect it at checkout. The rate and rules can change, so check whether the total at checkout includes GST or whether it may be charged later.
5. Returns and buyer protection
Read the return window, who pays for return shipping, and the buyer protection terms. For electrical items, confirm what happens if the wrong plug arrives.
6. Seller and reviews
Look at the seller rating, how long the store has operated, and recent reviews. Pay attention to comments about noise, the controller and the plug. The featured listing had a small number of reviews when we checked, so treat the rating as an early indicator.
